We could see the sea from our terrace and watch the sun slip behind the mountains in the evening. Our two weeks at Perigiali Apartments were an absolute joy, peaceful and relaxing. The apartment, its cleanliness and the general feel of the place were all perfect. Clear water, beaches, mini markets and tavernas are close by, and George, the owner, was friendly and very helpful.

The beach just 50 meters from the rooms was a lovely mix of sand and small stones, with clean water, shade from trees and not many people. A taverna has a few sunbeds there. Makry Gialos harbour is an easy walk from Perigiali Apartments, about 150 meters after going left by the sea, with a little uphill stretch and then downhill. Most cafes and tavernas are there, in front of the main sandy beach. That beach gets very crowded in high season, with lots of sunbeds, umbrellas and noise. We had a car and visited several beautiful beaches in the area. We were four people in two rooms for 4 nights, 12-16/8, 2023. The apartments were nice, but the sea view disappointed us: it was only bits of sea between buildings and trees. The cleaning lady came once, took the garbage and made the beds, but did no cleaning. We didn't get fresh towels or sheets during the stay. We left a small and a larger dirty towel on the bathroom floor for her to replace, and she just hung them back up. The mini kitchen was fine for breakfast and a light meal, and had salt, pepper, olive oil, oregano, sugar, a little coffee, a few tea bags, plates, glasses and other basics. The bedroom had mosquito supplies, a small safe, TV and hairdryer. On arrival, the fridge held a small water, beer and juice, and the kitchen table had four biscuits, a small chocolate, a little sugar and coffee.

We were there for 4 nights, and the owner was a very nice person. The place was quiet, with an outdoor area for sitting, breakfast or a brbq. The view wasn't good, but we weren't there for that. They didn't change our sheets or towels during our stay, though we had no problems.

A lovely pebble beach is only a few steps away, with plenty of shops and taverns nearby. The apartment itself was air-conditioned, absolutely clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. We were greeted with nice snacks, chilled wine and other drinks. The host and his wife welcomed us so warmly and were always ready to help. There's a pleasant sitting area in front with a view of the sea and surroundings, and the apartment is set in a beautiful garden. Thanks again for their hospitality and wonderful stay.
