The hotel is newly built and close to the sea. Our room had a balcony, was clean and had no smell, and the air conditioning worked well. Staff were polite and friendly. The pool is nice and only three meters from the hotel; the bar and breakfast tables are beside it, making for a cozy spot to have breakfast or a cocktail. The beach is sandy, with an old port right to its right. I personally don’t like ports, old or new, so that was a big drawback for me, though my boyfriend loved it because he likes old ports. We booked through Bookinn. I’m giving four stars because of what happened after we left. During our trip to Crete, we changed hotels, and I’d forgotten a dress at one of them. I texted this hotel’s number with details about our stay, our room and the dress to ask whether I’d left it there, but never got any reply, yes or no. That was really sad. I took off a star because even after checkout, a five-star service should treat customers like guests.

Eva and Catarina were incredibly friendly and pleasant, and their warm hospitality made the stay all the more enjoyable. The Silver Sun Hotel sits right by the sea, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was spacious, very clean and had a kitchenette, so we had the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. The pool bar was a highlight, with tasty cocktails and food. I especially liked the fresh, delicious Greek salad. Thanks for such a wonderful stay at Silver Sun. I’ll definitely return.

We stopped in for lunch on two days and found it good value. The place was very clean, and the staff were really friendly. A nice break from the busyness of everyday life.

The location is a little out of the way, though the harbor is within walking distance and has a very good restaurant. This apartment hotel is right on the beach, with a pool, parking and friendly staff. Our room was OK, but I expected a bit more from the pictures. The pool bar was average.

We had a quiet stay by the sea in a clean self-catering apartment. There was plenty of parking, the beds were good, the pool was nice and the air con worked. I’d rate the experience 8 out of 10. The restaurant had no seafood or fish at all, and the coffee was tasteless, though a nearby beach bar served great coffee. Still, we’d definitely come back. Great memories.
