Sirens Beach and Village - All Inclusive

We felt very welcome at Sirens, and it’s in a quiet spot away from the party strip. Kostas, Michael and Maria (there were about 2 or 3 with the same name) and all the other staff were amazing. The food was okay, though it could’ve been better, and I wish there were more all-inclusive drink options.

If you’re near the beach, try one of Maria’s cocktails. She makes them with fresh ingredients, and they’re full of flavor. You can taste the care she puts into every drink. Maria is talented, really kind and welcoming, and makes you feel at home straight away. Her cocktails are refreshing and delicious. Don’t miss stopping by for one.

The biggest problems for us were the noise, the cramped room and the dated equipment. With two adults and two kids, the room felt much too small, and having just one electric socket was inconvenient. The bathroom only had a curtain instead of a shower screen, so showers left quite a mess. It was noisy too: cleaning began early, and meals came with a lot of clattering dishes and cutlery. There were good points. The location was excellent for reaching the beach with kids, and the resort was green and well cared for. The pools were always clean and inviting, and extras like minigolf and a small fitness area were nice to have. Housekeeping came often and kept our room spotless. Food was okay, with decent variety, but nothing memorable. The beach had a lot of sea grass and wasn’t fully clean, and service at the beach bar could be slow when busy. Overall, cleanliness and location worked in the hotel’s favor, but the noise, limited space and old facilities made this an imperfect stay.

We booked a double standard room back in February with three other families, then arrived in September to find that we’d been given a much smaller room than the others, almost half the size, with no sensible explanation. Receptionist Andrea welcomed us, and the explanation from her manager was literally “Badluck.” We were also checked in an hour and a half later than the others, though it was still before 14:00. Maybe it was because we had the youngest baby in the group, or considerably more luggage. A lovely bonus from these wonderful people. That still wasn’t the worst of the first day. The room hadn’t been cleaned: there was hair in the bathtub, broken plugs and dust on the floor. This all-inclusive experience is off to quite a start. I’m curious what will happen next.
