The Old Town location gave us a quiet escape from the nightlife, while shops and restaurants were still an easy walk away. Potamos Beach was simple to reach with a short bus ride and a brief walk. The apartments were spotless and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette. We also really liked the pool area, which was clean, well maintained and a lovely place to enjoy the Cretan sun. The poolside bar served delicious food and drinks. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. George and the family who run Stelios Residence Apartments were kind and attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their local tips for tavernas, beaches and other places to see were excellent. They care a lot about their guests, even staying up late to welcome new arrivals or give people a proper goodbye. For a friendly, clean place in a great spot in Malia, we can't recommend Stelios Residence Apartments enough. It's a real gem, and we can't wait to return.

The hosts were really lovely and gave each of us three generous free drinks. It's close to the strip but still quiet, and the pool is great and deep. Every room has a fantastic outdoor area. The bathrooms could use some improvement, though. Apart from that, it was a great place and completely worth the price.

Stelios Apartments is the most hospitable place I've stayed in Crete. Everyone was accommodating, especially the owner, Mr. George, who helped us throughout the trip. He gave us recommendations and did his best to make us feel at home. I definitely recommend it!

The pool is good, and the Stelios apartments are nice and generally quite clean. The owner is very kind and helpful, and the area is quiet and peaceful at night. The streets with the most intense nightlife are 5-10 minutes away. The toilet is very small, so showering is a little difficult, and you can't flush toilet paper. Still, our experience was pleasant overall.

A great place to stay in Malia, away from the noisy center but with everything close by. The hosts are fantastic and happy to help with any questions. There's a swimming pool and a bar with everything you need. Highly recommended!
