Theo Star Beach Hotel

Quiet and clean, with friendly staff, a private beach, and great house wine. There’s food available too, and the gyros is great. The rooms aren’t soundproof, so you may hear the neighbors, and the shower water is likely to be less warm in the mornings. Apparently that’s common at accommodation in the area.

Getting around on foot nearby isn’t very comfortable because the streets have no sidewalks, even though they’re lined with shops and taverns. Still, taverns, supermarkets, and souvenir shops are close by. The apartment was bright, comfortable, and tastefully furnished, with a lovely sea-view terrace. The pools are on the small side but weren’t crowded, and there’s a private beach with fine sand and clear water. Water sports are available not far away. Breakfast had an excellent range of sweet and savory options, and the restaurant food was excellent too. Pool bar snacks and cocktails were fairly priced.

The best part of our stay was the staff. They were so kind and went along with all our whims. One evening they even gave the three of us a delicious free dessert. The rooms were beautifully clean, and we had a lovely pool and private beach with free chairs and umbrellas. It was peaceful and quiet, but still easy to walk into Malia. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend, and thanks for looking after us so well!

We were there for nine nights, and everything we ordered at the hotel was very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool area was lovely and well maintained. The hotel has its own beach, and the location is really good. Our clean room looked new, and even had a small kitchen that we didn’t end up using.
