Marathon Eco Stay

The owners were among the kindest and most efficient people we met on our trip, and I’d gladly return whenever I’m in the area. The apartments are beautifully furnished, with lovely architecture and scenery, and the kitchen has everything you need. It’s peaceful in the natural surroundings, even with the main road nearby, since you don’t hear the traffic. The village is close, though you may need a car.

Vera was a warm and supportive host, and her recommendations really added to my visit. I spent two nights at Marathon Eco Stay in Marathon, Greece, and had a great stay. The hotel is beautiful, and everything was neat and clean. I’d recommend Marathon Eco Stay to anyone looking for a pleasant place to relax and enjoy Greece.

The place was spotless, and we spent lots of time in the lovely yard looking out at the mountains. The hammock was my favorite place to enjoy some peace and quiet. The owners were kind and friendly, and shared tips about places to visit around town, including places to eat, beaches, and museums. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’re already planning to come back next year.

The quiet setting made for a relaxing stay, remote enough to feel peaceful while still close to supermarkets and restaurants. It was a nice balance: we could enjoy the history of Marathon and stay in a modern, well-appointed apartment. On warm days, the place stayed cool in an eco-friendly way, and the sustainability efforts were clear. We had everything needed to cook, with a great range of appliances, cutlery, and plates. It felt like a home away from home. The two sisters who own Marathon Eco Stay | Luxury Lodgings were welcoming from the start and went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. They even accommodated our last-minute booking request. We were very happy with the stay and can’t wait to return.
