We weren’t staying at this hotel, but our own place didn’t have a pool or sunbeds, so we used theirs. Just buy a drink or get something to eat and everyone’s happy. The owners were very welcoming, and the menu has something for all ages.

It’s a simple place and a bit on the older side, but the people are lovely and helpful in every way. They cleaned six days a week, which was amazing with all the sand from the beach. We had everything we needed and it’s so close to the beach. At one point there were an insane number of mosquitoes, but they helped us with spray. I like that the beds weren’t very soft, since that’s what I prefer. We’d definitely come back.

This is a relaxed, non-intrusive place, basic but clean. The pool is freshwater, well equipped with loungers, and has plenty of sun and shade. The bar serves tasty breakfast and lunch to suit all tastes. Our room was on the side above the pool, with a balcony view of the sea, sunsets and the Island of Kalymnos. It’s one of my favourite views. Nikos and Paola are fantastic and make every stay at Luis friendly, fun, comfortable and safe. Nikos also does airport pickups and drop-offs, which we really appreciate. If a room is available, you can often extend your stay until it’s time to leave for a small charge.

Nikos and Paola make you feel so welcome. The pool is great and always kept in amazing condition, and the pool bar food is brilliant with loads of choice. The apartments are cleaned every day except Sunday, and the cleaners always do an exceptional job. Such a great place to stay, I’d highly recommend it.

I’ve been coming to Kos for years, especially Mastichari, such a lovely, laid-back little harbour resort. Luis apartments are one of the nicest places I’ve stayed, and the pool is a great bonus. The room was so comfortable, with satellite TV, a well-stocked kitchen, complimentary water and juice, and even shower gel and shampoo. Paola and Nikos are lovely, friendly and genuine. They were ready to help with anything, and even bought us a drink when they spotted us at a bar. Maria, who cleans the rooms, also deserves a mention. She never seems to stop and was one of the nicest cleaning ladies I’ve met, always so helpful. You don’t feel like a guest here, more like part of the family. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it.
