Marika Apartments

It had been 17 years since I last stayed at Marika's, where I’d been from 2003-2006, and this was my first time returning on my own. Michael runs it now, and the rooms have been updated. Everything was perfect, and while I didn’t cook, the essentials were there if I wanted to. The location couldn’t be better: a two-minute walk to the beach, three minutes to everything else, and the supermarket just across the road. The rooms were quiet, peaceful and very clean, with room on the balcony for morning coffee. Michael picked me up from and dropped me back at the airport. I knew on my first day that I’d want to extend my stay, and he arranged it without any trouble. I stayed one more night at Marika's, then spent the final night at Yiannis, only about a 30-second walk to the left. Even though it was so close, Michael still sent someone to make sure I moved over safely. Marika also came to visit me. I can’t thank Michael enough for making my stay so good. If you want somewhere homely, welcoming and comfortable, I’d highly recommend Marika's.
