Mediterranean Rooms

A must-try in Gythio. Every time, the burgers are cooked just right and made with fresh ingredients, with a great choice of condiments.

The area is peaceful, with no annoying traffic, and there’s a beach volley net. We enjoyed the coffee and ice cream, though we didn’t try the food. The service was friendly and hospitable, and the sunbeds and umbrellas are free. There are Caretta caretta nests nearby, so there are no intense lights or loud music. The rooms are close enough to the sea but far enough from the bar. We’ll try their grill soon, it smelled delicious!

I made it home safely and wanted to thank you for helping me out with the room so spontaneously. Your kind welcome and the relaxed feel of the place helped me heal and get better, and gave me some good memories of my vacation despite the injury. It’s much more than the word “snacks” suggests. The bar serves a wide choice of really good Greek food, more like a taverna than a snack bar, right beside a very nice beach. The staff were lovely. We adored it.
