Caldera's Dolphin Suites

Back for a second year, and I still love Santorini and its people. It’s a unique island, with stunning views and a warm welcome everywhere. There’s a great beach and good facilities, and the hotel provides a shuttle.

The view of the sea from the suites is spectacular, almost impossible to capture in a photo. The staff were incredibly kind and did so much to make our stay memorable. We also enjoyed the great breakfast service and the workout area. The free daily shuttle to Fira and a nearby beach was a huge plus. Such a magical stay, we’d recommend this place and want to come back.

Our suite was really spacious, and the staff were lovely and there when we needed help. The views across the Calderas from the balcony were lovely too. Breakfast was great. We ate on the balcony once just because, then had it poolside for the rest of the week. Megalochori is a lovely town, not too busy, with plenty of nice places to eat. Buses make getting around the island easy. We went to Fira, which wasn’t my cup of tea, Oia, which was very pretty but busy, and Akrotiri, which we enjoyed. The gym was well stocked, including a decent rowing machine and TCC, if that’s your thing. Definitely recommend staying here.

We were so glad we chose peaceful Megalochori instead of one of the busy towns. It still had lovely restaurants and shops, and the view of the caldera from our hot tub room was truly stunning. We stayed in September 2024, and it was the most memorable, amazing trip. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, they couldn’t have done more for us. We loved having breakfast in our room each day, and the shuttle bus was great. Often it was just the two of us using it, so it felt like a private service. Thank you for everything!
