The room was comfortable and clean, with a good bed and everything we needed for a stay like this. It was well ventilated, had air conditioning, and was easy to reach from the street. Tasos really made the stay, though. He was incredibly kind and attentive, helped us plan our days using his knowledge of the area, and went out of his way to make us comfortable. One day, when he happened to be near where we’d walked, he even offered us a ride home.

We were on the island for five nights to help with firefighting, during a really stressful stretch. Staying here made the exhausting days and short nights far more pleasant than we expected. Tasos was a wonderful host, always smiling and ready to help with whatever we needed, sometimes at very short notice. Mesta is a marvelous medieval castle town, and Lida Mary hotel is the place to stay.

The staff were so kind and helpful, and really did more than expected to make our stay special. Lida Mary also has a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere and a location full of character. One of the best vacations we’ve had, and we’d definitely come back.

Our rooms at Lida Mary were cozy, clean and traditional, right in a great spot in the village. After our long journey, Tassos kindly let us check in very early, and he had helpful suggestions for exploring the island. We had a lovely stay, thank you!

A calm, peaceful break in Mesta. The hotel manager, Tasos, welcomed us and spent about an hour chatting and explaining what we could see and do in the south of the island. Our room was clean and modern.
