The beach is only 40 meters away, with clear water and lovely sand, and there was always a parking spot in front of the house. There’s also a playground in the yard. We stayed in a sea-view apartment with plenty of room for two adults and three children, five beds and nine chairs, so everyone was comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed, the shower had a proper door, and the apartment was cleaned every day. The owner was kind, though we didn’t need to ask for anything because everything was already in order.

It’s been 96 hours, and my wife still brings up our encounter with one of the cleaners. She was shocked to find a few grains of sand on the floor, which seems a bit much near the beach. Then she accused us of deliberately putting a sink lid in the sink and keeping it secret. She chose to confront my pregnant wife about it, too. A memorable experience, apparently.

The internet was stable and fast, and I should add that the hosts were the most supportive and polite I’ve ever met. The place was clean and great, with a grocery store right across the street, restaurants nearby, and a big parking area.

The tavern beside House Petridis plays music until 1am, so sleeping was difficult. There’s no hot water after 21h until noon the next day, either. The beach was very bad for us, with stones that made it hard to get into the water.

The beach is less than a minute away, and shops, bakeries, and restaurants are close too. It’s a lovely, pleasant place, with a harmonious feel and a beautiful garden. The rooms are comfortable, and the owner is kind and pleasant.
