There are lovely beaches nearby, with better service and much lower prices, and they don't have people reserving towels on the sunbeds. The hotel's own beach could be good, and the location, garden, and balcony views are great, but neglect and poor management spoiled it for us. Guests, mostly Bulgarians and Serbs, put towels on all the sunbeds early in the morning to claim them, and management seemed fine with that. We arrived around 11 in the morning, four adults with four kids. Two umbrellas and four sunbeds were empty but had towels with rocks on them. The bartender and waiter said we could use them, so we did. About an hour later, an angry Bulgarian woman came to claim them. We wouldn't move and expected the waiter to take our order, but she complained to the “manager,” a 50-to-60-year-old Bulgarian man whose management skills seemed questionable. He yelled at the waiter in Greek, then we were told to leave the sunbeds. No explanation, apology, or anything. It was very unprofessional and rude, especially since we'd only just arrived. We later saw that manager yelling at restaurant staff, who all seemed afraid of him. The ladies working there kept pestering guests to take empty plates and glasses, even when people hadn't finished eating. The food itself was OK, thanks to the white-bearded chef, who was amazing. The rooms had what we needed, but weren't clean and felt abandoned. We had two rooms for six nights. The only thing the cleaning ladies did during that time was take out the rubbish daily. They never cleaned the bathrooms or changed the bed linen. One room got fresh towels on day three, the other didn't, and I don't know why. A three-star rating doesn't make dirty rooms OK. The area has lots of great beaches nearby, but we'd choose one of those instead.

Stelian was the best, helping us with every little detail and really knowing how to look after guests. When something needed attention, the administration responded quickly and appropriately. The cleaning ladies were friendly and helpful, and our rooms were spotless. The food was fresh and plentiful, and the cook made delicious meals. At the beach, the big trees gave us lovely shade, so we didn't feel too hot while drinking our Prosecco. There was only a thin strip of stones in the sea, then wide, calm sandy water where our three kids swam all day. The big garden was great in the evenings with little children. Such a hidden paradise. Thank you all for everything, see you next summer!

The staff were friendly and very kind, and the rooms were clean. There’s a children’s playground in the yard. The garden, balcony, and restaurant views were all lovely. My only suggestion is to offer a wider choice of food.

The biggest plus was the staff. Everyone was kind and polite, especially the bartender at the beach bar and Irini at the restaurant. Our spacious room was kept spotless, with cleaning every day and fresh sheets and towels every three days. The restaurant food was tasty, with enough variety, and the views from both the restaurant and our room were spectacular. The kids had things to keep them entertained as well. We had a lovely stay and thought it was good value for the money. The sunbeds are the one thing that could be improved.

The people were pleasant, and it's a great location for kids, but that doesn't make up for all the things that need maintenance. The beach bar was beyond comment. There was only one menu choice, and compared with other three-star hotels, this was the worst. I wouldn't return, at least not at the price being asked. In its current state, I'd give it just one star.
