Hotel Ion

A good spot for a stay with friends.

The ION hotel is affordable, quiet, small, and spotlessly clean, run by a lovely family led by the owner, Mrs. Dina. They're always ready to help with a smile and make you feel welcome. We've stayed here with friends twice now, and everything was wonderful both times. We plan to make it a third stay. If you want somewhere simple, warm, friendly, and a little special, we recommend it. Our first stay felt like the start of an unforgettable summer holiday. It's also very close to wherever you're staying in Greece.

This is a family-run place with spotless rooms and outdoor areas, good prices, and a warm, kind welcome. For example, a triple room costs 35 euros, which felt fair. Don't expect a receptionist, bar, or lots of lighting and facilities. You do get quiet, helpful service, and particularly careful cleanliness in line with the COVID rules. The triple room wasn't very spacious, but had a fridge, small TV, air conditioning, and a roomy bathroom with a shower. There's a terrace with a table and chairs, plus small tables outside the hotel entrance. For the price, it was a fair deal.

The rooms, sheets, and towels were clean, and the room price was very good. The service was good too, with a fully equipped kitchen and working Wi-Fi. It's only a minute from the sea. The serious drawbacks were the lack of soundproofing and parking. We also couldn't find a shady spot for the car.
