The Schoolmistress With the Golden Eyes

A real bargain, right in the heart of Molivos. It's quiet, with lovely verandas and a great sea view. Lots of guests come back.

The city is enchanting, with stone buildings everywhere and streets paved in stone. We visited the castle up the hill, and took a taxi to the Eftalu Hotsprings a few times. On the way there, we stopped at an ocean-view restaurant for pastitsio. We also walked to and from the restaurants to eat, though we didn't use the guesthouse's shared kitchen or communal fridge for food. We stayed here years ago and would like to stay again. It was very pleasant, quiet, and peaceful, and the manager was always nice. Our small, neat room faced the ocean over the tops of beautiful stone buildings. It had a balcony and private bathroom, and they put two twin beds together to make a king-sized bed. Just remember it's a guesthouse, not a regular hotel. You can store food in the shared refrigerator and cook in the shared kitchen.

The landlord was very nice and helpful. My room faced the garden, but I could enjoy the view from the shared balcony. The room was small, though it had everything I needed, and the shower could use a curtain. There's a common dining room where you can make your own meals, or you can eat out. A very good choice, right in the center of a small, picturesque market.

Our host was friendly and helped with our needs and questions. The room was clean, and the balcony faced the sea with a wonderful view. The building sits on a hill, near a very quiet shopping street that leads to the castle.
