Hotel Iris

It’s an easy walk into town, and the mountain views are lovely. I also really liked the pretty patio and wonderful breakfast. The people running the place were incredibly warm and kind. I loved staying here and would definitely book again.

Breakfast in the charming courtyard was a lovely way to start each morning. The food was delicious and included fresh local bread, feta cheese, Greek salad, handmade cakes and sweets, orange juice, coffee, tea, olive oil, eggs, and ham. The owners were wonderfully hospitable, offering personal tips for local attractions and accommodating our special requests. The hotel’s location also made for a relaxing stay. I’d unreservedly recommend Iris Villa Hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil, restorative retreat.

The hosts put so much heart into what they do, and their warm welcome and lovely smiles made us feel cared for. They were always ready with suggestions for local hikes and places to visit. Breakfast felt like its own special experience, with local vegetables, fruit, and cheeses, plus grandma’s homemade cakes and cookies and the extraordinary jam and honey from their beehives. The reception room had classical music playing, and the whole space they created was cosy and beautiful. It’s the most wonderful place I’ve ever stayed. Thank you!

“Home is here” really fits this boutique hotel in Lesvos. Even though we arrived later than the usual check-in time, the owners noticed we looked tired and offered us coffee and the hotel’s special “grandma’s cookies.” That thoughtful welcome made us feel at home right away. Breakfast brought different homemade pies, cakes, and cookies each day, along with tasty choices like a traditional Turkish breakfast. The rooms were cleaned regularly, and fresh towels came every other day. It’s only five minutes from Molyvos, and parking right in front was easy. The owners’ warmth made the stay memorable, and we’d happily return on our next visit.
