House Smaragdi

We were impressed by how professional, friendly, and helpful the staff were. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, though I would have liked some local specialties. Our room was clean and a good size, with a small balcony beside the neighboring room and a lovely sea view. The location right by the water was convenient, and we'd definitely visit again.

I left disappointed and wouldn't stay here again. The room was nowhere near as nice as the edited photos on the hotel's website made it look. The pictures also make it seem as though the hotel sits directly on the beach, surrounded by beautiful nature, but they leave out the very busy road with cars between the property and the shore. I don't understand why they don't use realistic photos instead of a fantasy version. For a hotel advertised as a beach hotel, charging extra for sunbeds and umbrellas was also disappointing. The lobby balcony where breakfast is served is nice, and the simple breakfast was adequate, but cappuccino and espresso cost extra too.

The sea was wonderfully warm, and having the beach so close was great. The young staff run the hotel, and I think that's a key to its success. The room was clean and totally OK, thanks to the young lady doing a great job looking after them. Breakfast seemed a bit sparse at first, but turned out to be fine. It was a nice stay.

We couldn't have asked for more at Hotel Manthos Blue. The location right on the beach was stunning, and our modern hotel was very clean. Our room had a perfect sea view, a fantastic shower, and the comfiest bed. Everyone was so friendly, especially Stefanos, who looked after us on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
