Casa Di Angela

The location wasn’t ideal, but the hosts were so friendly and helpful that they made our stay fantastic. Their warmth more than made up for the shortcomings around the property.

Angela was so sweet, she felt like our Greek mum. She gave us a map and marked the best routes to the clubs, beaches, and Old Town, plus a taxi contact number. There’s a Bazaar supermarket, pharmacy, and bakery within a five-minute walk. The flats are fresh, renovated, and have everything you might need, including a coffee machine and pods. One of the best places we’ve stayed. The only drawback is the route to Old Town. It takes about 15 minutes downhill on foot, then 20-25 minutes back because it’s steep and uneven. It would be difficult if you have mobility issues, or a torn meniscus like I did. The crossing can also be dangerous. Angela has a car park, so I’d suggest renting a motorcycle or quad. We’ll definitely come back, and rent a motorcycle!

We loved staying here together. After we walked from the port, the owner welcomed us with orange juice and gave us a map of popular places in Mykonos. She also explained the transport options, which was so kind of her. The room was clean and nice, and having a supermarket nearby meant we could cook, which was helpful during our stay. Thanks for making our trip so great!

The host who checked us in was really sweet, and the place itself was fresh, recently renovated, and finished in a modern style. It was quiet and peaceful once inside, though I could hear the neighbors a little, and the blinds didn’t block all the light. The big issue is the major highway between Casa di Angela and the historic area. Traffic never seems to stop, so crossing with luggage feels like playing Frogger. It takes quick feet. I liked the place a lot, but I’m not sure I’d recommend it to everyone because of that road. Great stay otherwise.
