Icon Mykonos

Breakfast was included and delivered to our room at whatever time we chose, after we placed the order the day before. Each person could choose one item from each of these groups: bread and pastries, dairy (milk, yoghurt), cereal (the granola was amazing), salad and fruit, eggs (the kayana eggs were the best), meats, cheese, and juice. There was too much to eat at breakfast, so we had the egg dish then saved the rest for lunch. The beach was also only two minutes away, but it was rocky and we both cut our feet on the natural rock platform in the sea, so be careful. We found a hidden route along the seafront toward the windmills, which doesn't show up on Google maps, and it was the best way into town. Mykonos old town was a 5-10 minute walk away. We had a perfect week for our honeymoon in room 5 (icon pool suite), and wished we'd stayed longer. The room was huge, with a stunning private pool and sea view. The hotel sits above the road, which wasn't busy or noisy, and that made it feel private and secluded. The staff were kind, helpful, and talkative. The bar was expensive, but there was a convenience store two minutes away where we bought drinks for our room.

The location made it easy to enjoy both Mykonos Town and a nearby beach, with a short, pleasant walk to either. The hotel is charming and small, so it's easy to get around. Staff were incredibly friendly, always happy to suggest what to do and where to go on the island, and even helped arrange our transport. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

Alex, the pool bartender, was a huge help with suggestions for the area. The staff were accommodating and went above and beyond, and breakfast was fantastic, delivered to our room every morning. My wife and I spent five nights here at the end of May for our honeymoon. Our second-floor room had a balcony and spectacular views of the water and sunsets. We can't recommend this place enough!

The short walk to town was a great bonus, and the friendly staff made our time in Mykonos extra special. We had a fabulous pool room, big and beautiful, with a steamer provided. Breakfast arrived in the room each morning, and eating it while looking out at the sea was astonishing. Everything about the experience felt five stars.
