Casa Tagoo Mykonos

Three of us stayed here, and we loved the peaceful setting and stunning views. The owners, Dimitris, Alex, and his parents, were lovely and very accommodating, always available when needed. They can also arrange transfers, which helps avoid Mykonos’s expensive cabs. It’s close to the Old Town. We’d definitely recommend the place and stay again.

The property was quiet and had great views, and town was about a 15-minute walk away. If I booked again, I’d pick one of the four rooms with a direct ocean view, since those have a patio sitting area. The side-view patio wasn’t comfortable for sitting long, and that view didn’t really feel like an ocean view. The hot tub on “your” patio is shared with all guests, and you have to arrange to have it turned on. An umbrella by the pool would be nice. The property can arrange a port pickup for 10 euros. It was a nice stay.

I booked an extra night in Mykonos on my own to get away from the noise and bustle of the old town. The view over the sunset was amazing, and the breeze up here was sublime. It felt like a health retreat. The rooms were spotless, the AC worked, and the staff were super helpful and quick to respond. It’s a short, uphill 10-minute walk from town, which felt worth it for the seclusion and as a break from driving everywhere. By the pool, the wavy grass was a lovely touch. I spent nearly an hour sitting outside, meditating and snoozing to its sound. I’d come back with a partner, though I found it a bit expensive for solo travel. One small request for the staff: a couple of water bottles in the fridge would make a real difference.

Just an eight-minute walk from the center, this boutique hotel has a peaceful, relaxing vibe and a really nice pool. The view is fabulous, and the room looked exactly like the photos, with lovely decor and a clean, amazing feel. Mykonos’s best boutique hotel!
