Mykonos Theoxenia, a Member of Design Hotels

Don’t miss catching the sunset at their sunset lounge. The pool, breakfast buffet, and location were all great. They can pick you up and drop you off at the port, and there’s a transport company if you need to go somewhere, with 30 minutes’ notice. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. Highly recommend if you want a full-service Mykonos experience :)

The people made this place for us. The host was helpful when we arrived, and the breakfast and Pool Service staff were incredibly sweet. On my 40th birthday, our last day, they brought breakfast to my room and surprised me with a cake and candle. Such a thoughtful touch, and it made our stay. We spent three days here as the second stop on our Greek Island vacation. It’s within walking distance of old town Mykonos, but there’s a nice separation from the party atmosphere there. The hotel has a calm, mellow feel, which made it a good place to reset. Our oceanview room had prime sunset views. The design is hip, with a 1960s mid-century feel, like Palm Springs on the Mediterranean. I’ll only want to stay here from now on.

The location is hard to beat, with shopping, restaurants, and beaches right outside the door, and the food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. The chef even came out to greet us with a lovely smile. Our room was right on the ocean, so we heard the waves crashing all night. It was more relaxing than a spa. The beds were comfortable, the decor was beautiful, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The grounds were immaculate, and the pool was lovely, with enough room to spread out. The chaise lounge cushions were heavenly to lie on all day. Theoxenia Mykonos is historic and beautiful, and our five-day stay felt like paradise. Hotel manager Kikos Kokomuus and his staff went above and beyond. There was always someone around to help. Whenever my fiancé and I turned around, Kikos was there with a smile, checking each day that we were happy and had what we needed. He arranged our pickup and patiently answered our questions. He was knowledgeable and never talked just to hear himself speak. As a business owner myself, I know you’re as good as your staff, and he’s a class act. He treats the hotel as if it were his own and cares for guests like family. We’ve stayed at five-star hotels around the world, and this experience deserves more than five stars. We can’t wait to return. Thank you so much!

For our honeymoon, we stayed at this beautiful, quiet property with such friendly and accommodating staff. The location is great, up the hill from little Venice, with lots of nearby restaurants and shops. Our sea view suite looked just like the pictures, and the two complimentary bottles of Prosecco were a lovely touch. We’d absolutely recommend it!
