Our experience was horrible. The room was tiny and very dirty, and looked nothing like the pictures. It was at the top of an extremely steep, narrow staircase, which felt unsafe and was hard to manage with luggage. When we arrived, the owner left us waiting outside with no doorbell to ring and no sign of her. Sleeping was difficult too. Neighbors were noisy and even tried to enter our room, the old door banged in the wind all night, and a club next door played music until morning. We’d booked a hotel transport to the airport for €30, already more than other taxis charge. At the meeting point we couldn’t find the driver, so, with a flight to catch, we took a taxi. Ten minutes later the owner called, furious, saying we’d deliberately fooled them. She said the driver had seen us taking the taxi, though he hadn’t stopped us while we were clearly looking for him. Then she threatened that the police were outside the airport and would come in and make us miss our flight unless we paid immediately to the Iban she sent us. If you’re visiting Mykonos, don’t stay here. It was the worst experience possible, and I’m never coming back.

Eleni and her husband were so sweet. They welcomed us with figs and lemonade, which made us feel right at home. The rooms were good and very reasonably priced. The location is fantastic, less than five minutes from the famous windmills, Little Venice, and great bars and clubs.

Maria and her family were so nice. They met us with the keys when we arrived, and Maria even drove us to the airport for free when we left, saving us €40. The studio had everything we needed, was super clean, and had a small terrace and a brand new bathroom, which isn’t common. It’s right in the center of Mykonos town, on a quiet street, with a location that couldn’t be better. Much better than staying in a hotel outside town. Highly recommend!

Bed bugs! I came at the end of March with a tour group, and my roommate and I were covered in bites. I found a bug in my bed on the morning we were checking out, so there wasn’t much we could do by then. The rooms and bathrooms are very cramped, and getting to the room means climbing narrow, steep steps. The hot water didn’t work for the 30 people in my group. The owner kept telling us to wait for it to warm up, but it never did. The room seemed dusty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and the towels were scratchy and uncomfortable.
