Villa Francesca II

The patio had a beautiful view, and the beds were comfortable and clean. The place is up a hill with stairs, so you’ll need to haul your luggage a little way since taxis can’t drive into the village. It’s basic inside, but we were there to explore Mykonos. The patios aren’t set up for children, so it wasn’t ideal for little ones, though that was our choice. Wind sometimes made the shutters slam loudly at night, so ask to have them secured if that bothers you. Some nights were very quiet. We liked having AC, and opening the windows and doors gave us a cross breeze. There was also a dehumidifier in the bedroom that helped a lot, but we had to empty it twice a day.

We spent three days here in October. The view from the apartment was a real highlight, and there was lots of space with very practical amenities. It’s centrally located in Mykonos, close to the old port. The hotelier welcomed us warmly and was cheerful and helpful throughout. He gave us tips for things to do in town, printed our boarding passes, and walked with us to the cab station. We’ll remember his friendly welcome.

We only had one night at Villa Francesca II, but everything was just right: the building’s location, the sea view, and very clean rooms. Most of all, we appreciated how kind the owner was. I’ll be back with my family soon. Thank you.

The location made it easy to get around, with just about everything in Mykonos a five-minute walk away. We also liked having a balcony and a large smart TV. The staff were accommodating and did what they could to make our stay good. One of the three beds wasn’t comfortable. When we asked, they gave us complimentary espresso and a moka pot to make it, which was great. Tea would be a nice addition, but nothing was actually bad.
