The owners also run the small mini-market, and they’re such welcoming, friendly people. I stayed on my own for the first time and felt comfortable and safe throughout my 11 nights. It was quiet most of the time, so I could sleep well after going out. The wife cleaned while I was out, or came back later if I was still getting ready, so I never felt rushed. She was lovely. The room was very clean, the AC worked well, and with the blinds and shutters closed it stayed cool. There were no mosquitos, and the Wi-fi was okay. The little table outside my room was a lovely spot for a drink in the morning or evening. Mylopotas beach was only a one- or two-minute walk, and there were two mini-markets and a smaller shop right by the hotel, with cheap prices. I’d go back even if they cost more. They provided a fresh set of towels each day, one or two depending on how many people were staying, plus a blue blanket. The owner said not to worry when I asked about bedsheets, since I’d forgotten to bring my own, and they provide them, though because of Covid they hadn’t been doing that. Bring your pyjamas, as I didn’t expect them to provide any.

The owner was kind and very helpful, and the clean room had a shared terrace just two steps from the beach umbrellas. The AC worked great. A couple of practical things: shower in the afternoon or evening if you want hot water, and bring pyjamas or use a towel for a blanket, since the bed only has a sheet.

The beach’s better end is shaded from the wind, and the location is amazing!

The room was small but clean, with a really nice view, and the bathroom was a little small too. Great for the beach and partying at Far Out Club, just a few steps away.
