The location is spot on, right by the beach, restaurants and water sports. Far out beach club is a two-minute walk away, and the bus stop right in front of the property has rides for just 2 euros. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to look after us. Would definitely recommend 😊

This was my fifth time staying here, and the view is still unmatched. The couple who run the hotel go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Rooms are clean, breakfast is excellent, and the windows bring in such a lovely summer breeze that you may even want a blanket. You don’t need air conditioning. The bus to Chora and the port stops right outside. Honestly, there’s nothing else to ask for. And based on some other comments, come on, who needs a TV on vacation?

Mylopotas is a great base, with the hotel beside the island’s well-known beach bars and a direct view of the beach from the rooms. We found our room clean, with a renovated bathroom. It’s true there’s no AC, but the ceiling fan kept us comfortable, and we never felt hot. It cooled the room in a way that felt healthier and better for the environment. The owners are a young couple who were keen to help and made us feel very comfortable. Giorgos and Katerina also suggested hidden spots around the island that visitors should see. The views are great, prices are good, and the staff and owners are friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely return to Ios Plage and recommend it to anyone!

This is a lovely traditional hotel, which I believe was the first on this beach and has been run by the same family since at least the early 70s. The rooms are quaint, traditional and always clean, and the outdoor chillin area is nicely arranged with flowers and plants. We arrived in a heat wave, so in the hot season you may want to make sure you book a room with air conditioning. The family gave us the warmest welcome we had anywhere on the island. Breakfast comes with the package, and sitting in the shade at tables overlooking the beach, enjoying the cool breeze and freshly made food, was a treat. There was grandma’s apricot marmalade and local honey, too. It’s set slightly back from the busiest spots, but there are places to eat along the beach within easy reach. The bus stop is right outside, handy with luggage and for getting around the island. You can also walk up the track behind the hotel for a view from the other side of the island. I’d highly recommend this hotel on such a beautiful beach.
