The view and atmosphere were hard to beat, and the house wine was lovely. We went to Ellis for dinner after our hotel recommended it, and it ended up being our favorite meal on Ios. My husband ordered the house chicken recipe, while I had shrimp pasta. We noticed some larger groups dining there too, so I’d guess they can accommodate them if you call or drop by ahead to reserve.

The lamb kebab was a very good pick. We visited in September 2018 after the hotel owner suggested it for traditional Greek food. It was a quiet, simple place, and the meal was good without costing much. Nothing mind-blowing, so not quite five stars, but I’d still recommend stopping in if you’re nearby.

Dinner with an ocean view was lovely, and the prices were reasonable. The pizza was honestly the best I had during my six-week holiday, even after a week in Italy. We also enjoyed the tzatziki, pita, and risotto. Every waiter we spoke with was so friendly, and the service was great. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The grilled octopus was delicious, and there are plenty of good Greek dishes to choose from. It’s a great spot for a meal after a day at the beach. The restaurant is open air, on the second floor, with a view over Milopotas Beach on the Greek island of Ios.

Prices were quite good compared with other restaurants, but I’d rather pay more for better food. The service was slow, and the food itself wasn’t that great. For a Greek restaurant, I expected more Greek dishes, since pasta and pizza made up about half the menu.
