The service on the beach was very poor, and I left feeling cheated rather than welcomed. The waitress was slow to help us while she chatted with people she knew at the next table and even drank shots with them. We and other customers were left waiting. When we arrived, she asked us to pay for the sunbeds upfront, and we paid in cash. She took the money but didn’t give us a receipt. Later, after we ordered food and drinks, we asked for the bill, but she only told us an amount instead of bringing it in writing. The total was clearly wrong because it included the sunbeds a second time. When I questioned it, she blamed “a mistake by the staff inside,” which didn’t convince me. For a well-known beach bar, this kind of service is unacceptable. Charging customers incorrectly, not providing receipts, and giving friends priority over paying guests is unprofessional. I strongly advise management to review staff training and ethics.

The pool parties are great, and the weather and sea were nice too. We had a lovely view, clean rooms, very tasty pizza, and a fairly cheap market in the hotel. A taxi to town took five minutes and cost €10 total for four people.

It’s a beautiful place, with good spots on the beach and nice restaurants along the strip. The hotel is very clean, and they pick you up from the airport, which is great. Getting the bus back to the ferry port is easy. The club is extremely loud, but it doesn’t go all night, which was a relief. The hotel is upfront that it’s for partying, music, and DJs. That said, I think this place suits partying 18- and 19-year-olds best. If you’re over 25, you probably won’t like it, and couples looking for peace should look elsewhere. There’s steep uphill and downhill walking everywhere, so anyone with disabilities or back or leg problems should skip it. I found the staff unwelcoming enough that I stopped asking questions. Even asking where the bathroom was got a response that made it sound like the dumbest thing they’d ever heard. For high school-age guests around 18-21, it may be heaven, but there are much more relaxing places for others. I’d give it four stars if the staff had been more welcoming and helpful throughout the week.

Theodora at the Village was so friendly and helpful, and gave wonderful service by the pool. We had an amazing stay at Far Out. Can’t wait to come back!
