Hooga

This was our favorite experience in Greece. The hotel is charming and intimate, spotlessly clean, and just a ten-minute drive from the city. The food was excellent, but the staff stood out most of all. They were truly exceptional, and I'd love to return.

As a young couple, we didn't really enjoy the stay. I can see how it might suit a family better. The rooms were decent and the balconies were spacious, which we liked. At nearly 300€ a night, it felt odd to pay around 3€ extra for a proper morning coffee. Breakfast only included canned filter coffee, and the spread itself was very limited and exactly the same every morning. The shelves weren't replenished generously either. The location is easy to get to, but it's a small village, so don't expect much going on. The reception area also had a slightly strange atmosphere. Nobody was unfriendly, but it didn't feel cheerful, and that struck us as odd.

Hooga! was a really pleasant place to stay, cozy and very clean, with impeccable service. The suites have all the amenities you need, plus a little more. I'd recommend it highly if you're looking for somewhere quiet and cozy.

The food was a real highlight. Greek cooking with a fresh, modern touch, and so good that we didn't feel like eating elsewhere. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely kind. They seemed ready for whatever the weather brought: a parasol when the sun got strong, umbrellas waiting by the entrance when clouds rolled in. It felt like everyone cared about the place. The hotel itself felt like a dream, designed in a style I love, with wood and stone and thoughtful details throughout. The garden was beautiful and the pool crystal clear, cleaned every day. Thanks to the ladies looking after it. Our room was spotless, fresh and carefully maintained, a lovely place to return to after a sunny day.
