Oikies Small Elegant Houses

Breakfast served fresh on the balcony was a lovely touch. The property was clean and comfortable, and its location near the airport was convenient. Staff were especially helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to assist us. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed, and I’d highly recommend it.

The family running the place is very hands-on, and the staff were helpful. The rooms are newly renovated, spacious, and clean, especially by island standards. Breakfast is limited, but enough if you’re not after lots of cheese and ham choices. Being so close to the airport could be disruptive on busy summer days. You’ll need transport to get around, particularly to monuments farther away. I’d recommend it for a weekend trip as a couple.

For families staying in Mytilini, this is a great place. Breakfast comes to the balcony every morning as part of the good room service, and the pool is pleasant and quiet. It’s easy to get to the hotel, the airport, and the city port.

We stayed for a week, and the hotel amenities themselves were fine. The airport is very close, though, so planes taking off and landing make it loud. My bigger problem was that another car hit mine while it was parked in the hotel car park. We immediately asked to view the footage covering the lot, but the receptionist said she couldn’t access the cameras. Two days later, they told us the footage was deleted every day. They didn’t make enough effort to help. I wouldn’t trust the hotel with your belongings.
