The people were generally polite, and the place was clean. Still, privacy seemed a bit misunderstood. While we were asleep, the owner came into the room with his own key to tell us something about the electric panel. Earlier, the toilet flush had stopped working, though they fixed it. Then a curtain rod fell onto my wife’s head. They repaired that too, but her head wasn’t so easily fixed. At least we were awake enough for a coffee by then. Our stay at Olympias Mansion was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. If surprise visits and a bit of adventure appeal to you, this may be your place. If you want to sleep undisturbed, you might look elsewhere.

From outside, this old mansion turned hotel is impressive, but inside it’s average at best. The bathroom needs renovating, and the fridge is really noisy. We stayed three nights and the room was cleaned only once, so it wasn’t worth the money. The owner is nice, though I can’t say much more.

The location was really good, and Dmitri was very kind. But room 203 had a huge waste left on the toilet seat. We were traumatized. Flushing didn’t work, so we had to switch rooms because of the awful smell. Such a weird experience.

Hello, I canceled my reservation for 24 July 48 hours ahead because of health problems, but I was refunded only 20 EUR. Could at least some amount be returned after charging a certain fee? This feels unfair. How am I supposed to recover this loss, or take legal action? Please have someone in authority get back to me.

We booked through bookings and paid, but only when we arrived did we find out there was no lift and we’d have to use the stairs. Nobody had told us. The place was filthy, and the man in the office was smoking and eating. It was so dirty that we didn’t stay. They said we’d get our money back, but we never did. With suitcases, how were we meant to carry everything upstairs? There was no service, no sign out front, and the whole thing felt very unprofessional. Disgusting. I’d never stay somewhere like that.
