Amymone Suites

We had such a good three-night stay. Our second-floor room had a balcony facing the sea, and opening the windows each morning was beautiful. It was comfortable and cozy, with a couch, chairs, throw pillows, extra throw blankets, and a refrigerator for extra drinks. The old-town location was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do in Nafplio. The staff were warm and welcoming, and breakfast was amazing, with coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. They make their own cheese with their associated restaurant. The hostess was also so kind and helped me call my airline when I couldn't get my phone to work. I highly recommend it.

The rooms were so lovely, ours had a sea view and felt like waking up in an Anthropologie store. The location was great too. Getting up all those stairs was the one drawback, though it was worth it. Parking might be tricky, so it's best not to move your car if you can help it.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the Greek pancakes and freshly squeezed orange juice, all prepared each morning. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nicely finished. We stayed in the very spacious attic room. The sloped ceiling means you need to mind your head on one side of the bed.

The attic room is at the top of more than 50 stairs, and there's no elevator. With the sloping ceiling, taller guests may find it uncomfortable, and the hotel should give clearer accessibility information. Still, the boho-chic urban style and central location were great. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant.
