Park Hotel

The hotel looks modern and neat, and the room was well equipped. The shower was a bit small, the jets stung, and it took a while for the hot water to come through. The staff felt very officious. I missed the Greek smiles and welcoming attitude.

They were fully booked, but the woman at the front desk went out of her way to find me a room for four days, exactly what I needed. The hotel was clean, close to the ocean, and the prices were great. Highly recommend.

Avoid Park Hotel. We booked two nights through expedia for September 2024, then cancelled those and made a reservation for one night instead. Expedia cancelled the two nights, as shown on my receipt, but the hotel refused to refund them. I spoke with the hotel manager and called expedia together, and expedia confirmed it was the hotel refusing the refund. We paid for three nights but stayed one. It felt like robbery. The room also wasn’t very clean, there was a problem with the shower, and street parking is difficult in this area.

It’s a basic hotel near the old city, with a spacious, clean room, good breakfast, and friendly staff. The rooms aren’t very soundproof, and parking is on the street. They provide folded sheets for making your own bed. Good value.
