The location is fantastic for reaching Old Town sights on foot and getting to bus routes. The people running the pension are friendly, the WiFi is reliable, the water is hot, the AC is cold, and there’s a handy mini fridge in the room. That’s where the positives end for me. Both the room and bathroom were so dirty I needed shower shoes. The bed was awful, with springs poking up and a dip in the middle. Sleep and shower were the two main things I wanted from my accommodation, and both were highly unsatisfactory. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you don’t mind roughing it.

Room 5 is on the ground floor, cosy and well organised. We were the first visitors of the season, but there was no mold or unpleasant smell of the kind rooms often have after winter. It gets no direct sunlight because it’s close to the building opposite, which is perfect on hot summer days. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and the hot water was really hot. There’s also an extra-large warm blanket, useful in early April 🙃 The pension is in the heart of the old town, slightly away from the pedestrian traffic and bustle. It’s very quiet after midnight, and the bus station is a five-minute walk away. The host provided free mineral water throughout our stay. The price was really good for the value, and we’d return.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were really friendly, our room was lovely and very clean, the bathroom was nice, and the bed was super comfortable. We also had a very cute balcony. The pension is right in the heart of the old town, and I can absolutely recommend it! :)

The owner was helpful and full of useful information, and the location in Nafplio's Old Town made it a lovely area to wander through the busy, narrow streets. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, though the safe in room #3 didn't work. There isn't parking nearby: the closest free spaces are by the port, about eight blocks away. You can pull up within half a block to unload bags, then park and walk back. Nafplio also makes a good base for exploring the Peloponnese.
