Atheaton Traditional Guesthouse

The family-run staff were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and offered maps, restaurant and sightseeing tips, and useful advice for exploring town. The hotel blends traditional charm and a noble character with modern comforts, an impressive combination in a historical building. Our room was spotless, spacious, quiet, and had excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was incredible, with homemade Greek pies and pastries, fresh bread with local jams, and perfectly cooked eggs, all served with breathtaking views of the old town. A wonderful mix of Greek hospitality, comfort, and culture. Highly recommended for couples, groups, solo travelers, and business trips.

The family running this hotel takes such good care of guests, with so much attention given to you. I’d read a review comparing it to a fairy tale hotel while deciding where to stay in Nafpilio, and they were right!

Breakfast is served at the hotel across the way, and there’s plenty of it: eggs with bacon, pastries, cakes, yogurt, fruit, and granola. You’ll be stuffed. Our room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We’d definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was included and wonderful, especially the Greek yogurt, the best I’ve ever had. The service was great, and the hotel is right in the center of the old town, a lovely, quaint village. We had a wonderful experience.
