Crystal Mare Suites

The location is excellent, just steps from the beach clubs and town, and about five minutes from Naxos airport. The room had loads of space, a generous balcony with a towel rack, dimmable lights, a huge American-style fridge, a grand shower, and a properly cold, working AC. The bed was comfortable, the interior felt lavish, and the security doors were reassuring. It was so comfortable it almost felt criminal. 10/10.

Elisavet made our honeymoon stay in August especially memorable with her personal recommendations for restaurants and activities. Her thoughtful tips led us to places and experiences we’d have missed otherwise. We felt welcome right away, and looked after throughout. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully designed, and the hospitality made us feel at home. We were a little sad to leave. Elisavet is such a warmhearted person, and we’d happily come back.

We loved the breakfast buffet every day, especially the Naxian cheese, which I still remember. The spacious rooms had extremely comfortable beds and a small kitchenette that came in handy for reheating leftovers and washing water bottles. There’s private parking, which helped with our rental car, and the beach is a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel isn’t in the heart of the downtown or port area, but it’s an easy 20-30 minute walk to the old town of Naxos. Elisavet and Carmen were incredibly hospitable: they showed us around the rooms, suggested things to do, arranged reservations, and checked that we were happy at breakfast. This was our favorite hotel in Greece. I’d be delighted to return to Naxos. 5/5, highly recommend!

Elisavet gave us a map and lots of suggestions for meals, drinks, sights, and hikes. She even helped arrange our airport transfer. The room was distinctive and lovely, with an outdoor patio, and breakfast had a tasty range of options. The hotel is very peaceful, on the edge of the beach and town, just 1.5 km from the airport. The beach and restaurants are a very short walk away. A great honeymoon spot!
