Cyano Suites

We really enjoyed our three nights in the suite. It’s a great choice for active travelers who want to be near the lively port without being right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed four nights and didn’t want to go. The hosts were lovely and quick to reply by email, and they arranged taxis to and from the airport. Breakfast was delicious, with a beautiful spread every morning. Cold beer and water were waiting in our room fridge at check-in, and the nearby hotel parking lot was a big help while we had a rental car. Our top-floor room was spotless, easily the cleanest hotel room I’ve seen, and much nicer than we expected. It was beautiful and quiet, with a great AC and no noise from the people next door. There was a walk-in shower, a full bathtub, and two lovely balconies over the sea. The hotel sits right by the ocean, with amazing views of Apollo’s temple, especially at sunset. It’s on the edge of Chora, so it’s peaceful but just a few minutes’ walk from town. We walked there and back several times a day. I loved this hotel and Naxos. We don’t often repeat trips, but I may have to return.

The owners, a husband and wife, were friendly and accommodating. She made all the breakfast items herself, from quiches and spinach pies, my favorite, to homemade sweets. She even brought me ice so I could make iced tea each morning. Our quirky, fun room was very comfortable, and the front patio looked out at the Temple of Apollo, especially beautiful at sunset. The old town is close by. This was our favorite Naxos getaway, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

They even helped arrange a flower surprise for our anniversary, and the staff were so friendly. The location is excellent: about five minutes on foot to downtown or Portara, with enough distance to stay quiet and away from the crowds. The views from the room and patio were great, though cars park in front of the rooms. We had a clear view for the first few days, then a car blocked it, so next time I’d probably choose an upper-level room. The breakfast was incredible, with a huge, filling selection. There were lots of pillows, and the bed was comfy. I’d definitely stay again.
