I spent seven days in Naxos after seeing all the positive reviews. The host really is a superhost: he sent clear instructions and was always reachable. The apartment has nice lighting, fixtures and decor, working A/C, and they cleaned it every two days. There’s parking, and Saint George Beach is about a 10-minute trip away. There were some real problems, though. I saw mold in parts of the W/C, and despite the window screens, we had lots of spiders, ants and mosquitoes inside. Being on the ground floor may be why, and pest control seems needed. The TV wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi, so we had to use a hotspot. The toilet door slides and has a window, which lets light into the room at 07:30 and woke us up. It also isn't soundproof, so hearing everything from inside can be uncomfortable if you're not intimate with your partner. The basic amenities felt overpriced. We had no hot water for the first two days. It was fixed, but the pressure was poor, so don't count on a proper shower. If insects or mold bother you, or you need a dark, quiet room and privacy in the bathroom, this place probably isn't for you. I wouldn't recommend it to my family or friends.

The host made the stay especially nice. Alexandros welcomed us so warmly, shared useful local tips and recommendations, and made us feel at home. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and pleasant, only a few metres from my beach and a short walk from the centre.

Alexandros was really responsive and helpful, including arranging our transfer from the port. The place is quaint and just right for two people wanting to enjoy Naxos. It's a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, around 10 minutes to town and its great restaurants, and about five minutes to a supermarket. The neighbourhood is quiet.

Alexandros from Grey Rooms gave us a lovely welcome and shared tips on where to explore, eat, swim and have drinks. The rooms were beautiful and very clean, with all the basics we needed. It was an amazing stay, with the beach and town centre both within walking distance. Thanks! :)

We found the rooms convenient and beautifully decorated, and the location was calm with both Naxos Chora and the beach an easy walk away. Alexandros was a wonderful host who guided us during the stay and helped with whatever we needed. One of the best rooms I've stayed in across the Cyclades. Thanks, Alexandros and Anna, I highly recommend it.
