Naxos Holidays

The rooms had plenty of space, were comfortable, and got cleaned every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was traditional Greek fare, with eggs, cheeses, bread, vegetables, and coffee. Naxos Holiday Hotel is far enough from the port to avoid its noise, while still being within walking distance of the beautiful beaches, city center, and a great grocery store right next door. Americans, your next Trader Joe's or Whole Foods trip may disappoint after that store. This hotel feels like Greece, beautiful but simple. A very nice place.

We stayed in the tower, as I called it, with two rooms and separate doors to two private balconies. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice even though it was handheld. Each room has its own entrance, and the hotel has lots of levels, which makes it feel quite different from other places I've stayed. The location is so convenient. There's a supermarket, restaurant, outdoor cinema, and a beach within walking distance, and you can walk to the center, which is much easier than driving since parking is very difficult. The big pool was even better than expected. The open, spacious lobby has plenty of sofas, a bookshelf, and a long counter. Breakfast is included and served each morning in the dining room by the pool. Some luxury hotels don't even include that, despite charging more per night. I think it's unfair to take a star off just because the sheets aren't fitted. People need to learn how to rate a place. Anyone choosing this hotel will be delighted. If you want a luxury hotel, go pay more somewhere else.

Breakfast came with the stay, but we went out for it most days because it didn't suit us. For what we got, the hotel felt too pricey. The rooms were a decent size, but noise carried easily from neighboring rooms. There were old cables sticking out of the walls, the bath hose needed replacing, the fridge was so loud we had to turn it off at night, and the air conditioning didn't cool well. Outside, the pool area had mismatched furniture, and the hotel generally needed a fresh coat of paint. It felt like maintenance had been neglected.

The place was absolutely beautiful, and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was excellent too. Thanks, guys. I'd highly recommend it for a lovely stay. 👌 😀
