Syrianos Hotel

I only booked two nights in September, but ended up staying a week because Nikos, Maria, Stella and Yaya made me feel safe and at home. They were lovely, helpful, always happy to answer questions or chat, and taught me about Greek culture and Naxos. They also looked after me when I had to go to the nearby hospital. The location is great, with the beach, groceries, places to eat, coffee shops, pharmacies, and even the hospital all close by. The hospital is a 10-minute walk away. My room was cleaned daily, the wifi worked perfectly in the room and on the terrace, and breakfast on the terrace was included in the price, with a different homemade cake each day. I stayed much longer in Naxos than planned because this beautiful Greek family was so kind. I hope I can come back next year. Efkaristo para polli Nikos, Maria, Stella kai Yaya, kai ta leme! Nikos and Maria were wonderful hosts. When I checked out, Nikos gave me a painted pebble he'd made, one of the loveliest things I've encountered while travelling. It's a lovely little family-run hotel in a great spot, close to the port and right beside the beach. My room was clean and had great amenities. I'd highly recommend it!

Family-owned, really clean, and run by the sweetest people. It's just a minute from the water and close to everything. There are markets and bakeries only a few steps away, and the room had a mini fridge. I chose the place for its location, but I'll come back for the people. My only regret is staying just one day. What made my stay so enjoyable was how quiet and well placed the hotel is, and especially the thoughtful things the hosts did. The room was simple and clean, about an 8 minute walk from the main strip and right by the beach. I hadn’t realized breakfast was included, but Maria, I think that was her name, came after me as I was leaving to ask if I wanted some. It’s a simple continental breakfast. The main door is locked after midnight, though there’s a side entrance they let me in through. Oops, so double check if you’ll be out late. There’s no fan, but opening both windows kept the room cool enough to sleep. Thank you.
