The balcony was a lovely spot for breakfast, and the quiet edge-of-town setting meant we could hear the waves while still walking easily into the center. Our Kastro room felt private, with no noise from neighbors. We spent three nights there in early October. The studio was set one floor above ground level and had a useful kitchenette, plenty of basic cookware and utensils, and a tiled bathroom that was spotless. The water was hot with excellent pressure, and there were thick towels; beach towels were available on request. The balcony had a drying rack and clothespins, and its cover helped shield it from the wind. The family running the place were caring and attentive. Efthimia was quick to reply during email booking, and her English was very good. There was a DeLonghi drip coffee maker, though we needed to bring filter paper. The stovetop worked for cooking, but there was no microwave or toaster. We found the number of outlets limited, so a three-outlet splitter would be handy. For the price, it was a very good deal, and we really liked our hosts.

Our favorite place to unwind was the roomy back balcony, and the rooms were spotless. Nikos and his family made us feel welcome and took care to make sure we had what we needed during our week in the Aegean Suite. The beach is only a 30-second walk away, while Chora is an easy 10-15 minute stroll. We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for a better one.

Saint George beach is right across from Villa Naxia, and the busy center is about a five-minute walk away. We could reach restaurants, nightlife, the castle, and shops on foot, which was great with kids and also made it easy to relax without a car. We booked two rooms through a friend's recommendation. Villa Naxia isn't on Airbnb or other platforms, and it seems to get bookings by word of mouth. Communication was quick and thoughtful, and our airport pickup included a baby seat. Everything was spotless and carefully looked after. The rooms weren't cookie-cutter designs, each had been laid out differently to use its space well. There was marble throughout the property, and the attention to materials and architectural details really stood out. We'd happily return.

Nicko helped us track down local products, and everyone at Villa Naxia was thoughtful and attentive. The whitewashed villa, surrounded by colorful flowers and plants, is incredibly picturesque. We can’t wait to come back, and are grateful for another set of wonderful memories. We’ve stayed twice, in 2019 and again in 2025. We love the accommodations, the location near St. George’s Beach, and the spotless housekeeping, along with Nicko and his family. The rooms have a minimalist Cycladic look, with whitewashed surfaces, natural textures, and clean lines that create a calm coastal feel. The inside and outside of the villa are always immaculate. Our room looked out over the sea, and everything was clean and well cared for. Villa Naxia is near the city but stays peaceful, which made it a great place to relax. Efy was friendly and gave us lots of helpful tips. We'd gladly recommend it for a comfortable, convenient stay.
