Windmill Naxos

Out of five weeks in Greece, my four nights at the Windmill were my favorite. I tried both a private room and a dorm, and they were both really clean. The check-in email made everything easy to follow. At last I could cook, the kitchen has what you need, and they even include one free load of laundry. There’s good coffee every morning too. In the dorm, you get a personal fridge, towels and free locker storage. Such good value, and it just felt right. I love this place. The gentleman who runs it and the lady deserve all the great clients in Naxos. If you’ve read this far, book it!

After years of traveling, this is easily the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The dorm has your own little cabin, which gives you lots of privacy, and the facilities are great. I felt at home as soon as I got there. They offer free laundry, and it’s only five minutes from the beach. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the place gets cleaned every day, a lot. I really wish I could’ve stayed longer. Thank you for being so wonderful to me.

A really nice place to stay in Naxos, and very close to the alternative bus stop, the one away from the port. Just a heads-up, the room had no utensils at all, not even a fork, cup or plate 😂 That was a little inconvenient, but otherwise it was great.

Georgios was a lovely host and went out of his way to help. The check-in messages and directions were clear, which matters when finding places on Greek islands can be tricky. I started in a clean, roomy private room with everything I needed, then moved to a dorm where each bed had cabin doors for privacy and security. One of the better hostel setups I’ve seen. Great value too. I’d definitely come back.
