A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel "Rooms Elena" is located in Nea Potidea. This hotel is located in walking distance from the city center.

We were two adults and two children, and found the apartments comfortable and clean. The hosts were kind and helpful, and the yard and balconies were lovely. There’s street parking. The nearest market is an eight-minute walk away, though driving to restaurants saves time. I’d have liked more kitchen equipment, such as an oven, but we had a great time and highly recommend the hotel. It’s right on the beach, so you don’t need to drive there, and there are private sunbeds. The water is clean, and the sandy beach has some rocks. There were lots of fish, and I regretted not bringing a fishing rod.

The sewage pipe was unfortunately right in front of our terrace, and it was leaking. The sight and strong smell are hard to describe. When we raised the issue, the host got angry, shouted at us, and blamed us. The way he behaved also came across as condescending toward women. The apartments aren’t worth the price, even though they seem close to the sea. There was mold in the rooms, and I worried about possible effects on our health. Air conditioning was limited and didn’t seem to work properly, and the electricity seemed unstable. This was one of my worst stays, and I wouldn’t recommend the place. Beware.

The beach isn’t great, though there’s a sandy patch in the water where you can enjoy a swim. From Elena's building, it’s about 20m to the right as you face the sea. The rooms in the blue building have new furnishings and are comfortable, and there’s free Wi-Fi.

Be careful. The owner draws customers in with apartments next to the beach, which is awful, by the way. Once you choose one, though, they give you an even worse apartment 100m away. Classic post covid owner!

Honestly, I almost didn’t write this because it might let other people discover this little gem. It’s cozy, clean, friendly, relaxing, and right on the beach. Want to know more? Go stay there :)
