My parents were staying at this “vila”, and we were nearby, so we’d spend one beach day in front of our hotel and another in front of theirs. After the beach we usually sat on the balcony for coffee, but apparently that wasn’t allowed at their apartment. The hosts were very rude and wouldn’t let anyone visit, even just for coffee. I’ve never seen that before. One day my 6-year-old needed the bathroom and she wouldn’t let her use it. We weren’t allowed to use a hair dryer or bring anyone over for coffee or anything else. Apparently you’re only allowed to sleep there. A big no from me!

I loved having coffee on the terrace or in the garden each morning, watching the waves. The rooms are nice, the view is beautiful and the staff are kind. Big Dino's is right by the beach, which was handy for our holiday. Asprovalta and Stavros are close enough for a short walk or drive.

The location is very good, right on the beach, and the main restaurant walking area is five minutes away. There’s a private beach with its own umbrellas. But for June, the price felt too high for rooms that were only just okay, especially with no cleaning during the stay. We had to buy toiletries and even garbage bags. The host was horrible and disrespectful. He claimed he’d never spoken with us before we arrived, which wasn’t true, and I pulled up our conversation on HIS PHONE. He was nowhere to be found during our stay, then ran into us on the street the day before we left and asked which room we were in. He also said we owed 70€ for our dogs, even though we’d told him before arrival we were bringing two dogs and he never mentioned an extra fee in our long conversation. I would NEVER recommend staying there if you want to feel safe in a foreign country and enjoy your vacation.

The location is lovely, with plenty of free parking, and the penthouse apartment is spacious, very beautiful and nicely decorated. The kitchen had a coffee machine, microwave and fridge freezer. We found the private beach with an umbrella and chairs for each apartment very practical. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and Lidl and similar stores are a five-minute drive away. Wifi was unreliable, and water pressure became a problem at busy times, around 7-8 pm. The bigger issue was the hosts and the lack of customer care. We paid 116 euro per night, with no service included. This is self service, not a hotel, so you need to leave the room clean as you found it or pay extra. Air conditioning is charged daily on top of the room price. The hosts have a lot to learn about hospitality. They treated us as if they were doing us a favour at our expense, when they weren’t.
