The pool and garden were a real highlight, with loungers, egg chairs and other places to sit. Our four-night stay at G. George was quiet and relaxed, yet only a short walk from the main area. Everything was spotless, and the staff were so friendly. We were island hopping and would happily stay here again.

We ended the day with a cocktail by the pool, and after sleeping so well in the comfortable bed, I can see why this place gets such good reviews. The hotel has a gorgeous setting and the staff were lovely. We got a warm welcome, and our simple, clean room had a balcony looking over the pool and bar. Liza served us and was happy to explain the dishes and tell us which ones she liked. The food was fresh, tasty and there was plenty to choose from. We liked it enough to order more, especially the fried anchovies and spicy feta dip. A short walk takes you to the busy harbour and bay area, lined with shops and restaurants. We had a really pleasant stay and hope to come back.

The pool was clean and had plenty of loungers and umbrellas to use. We also appreciated the location, just a two-minute walk from Nydri's main street and its bars and restaurants, with the nearest beach about ten minutes away. There's a car park too. We stayed for ten days in August to explore the island. For a three-star hotel, it turned out much nicer than I expected. The staff were wonderful, and the breakfast had a good variety. You could also get food and drinks from the bar and restaurant during the day. Our room was clean and comfortable, though basic and a bit tired, with a small balcony. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Sound carries through the rooms, so the doors banging and people heading to breakfast in the morning could be annoying. Still, we had a very nice stay and would absolutely return.

A well-run, straightforward hotel with comfortable beds, a lovely clean pool and spotless rooms. They're small, but have what you need for a night or two. Breakfast was disappointing, with cheap ingredients, and there was a lot of plastic waste from the water bottles. Could you add a water filter, or at least a cooler with reusable bottles?

We had a wonderful stay. Matina and the staff were helpful and attentive the whole time, and the rooms, pool and breakfast were all great. The location was great too. Can't wait to come back!
