Yialos Villa was our worst villa stay so far, which is a shame because Lefkada itself is so lovely. During the first week of our two-week stay, we only had enough water pressure for a shower on two days. The house rules felt like something from an old Carry On film, and the cleaner/owner moved our personal belongings around. I was glad I hadn’t left anything out that I was worried about. The second week was better: the pressure stayed high all week and the showers were powerful enough. The location is good, with the beach a short walk away and the nearest taverna about five minutes on foot. There’s no Wi-Fi, and mobile service varied, with repeated losses of 4G and 3G.

A lovely, clean villa with granite floors throughout. It’s in a quiet spot, with a small village within walking distance, a private pool, and the beach just a 20-second walk away.
