The owner really makes Mithmina Camping special. He knows the food and pays attention to his guests, taking time to help everyone feel welcome and offering recommendations. The restaurant was a highlight for us: every dish we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. Prices felt well worth it for the food, setting and service. The campsite itself is peaceful and beautiful, and it feels like a special place as soon as you arrive. Whether you're staying to camp or just coming for a meal, Mithmina is a great way to enjoy Crete. Five stars from us.

We had a problem during our stay, and the friendly staff helped us through it. The grounds are spacious and shaded by trees, and the campsite is calm, clean and right by the beach. We also really liked the food at the taverna. Recommended!

We stayed two nights with our caravan, and everything was in good shape and clean. The facilities we needed were all there. The beach is just across a quiet street, a couple of steps from the campsite. We had a great time, especially with the amazing restaurant food and great service. We absolutely recommend it.

Even by 10 a.m., the beach was almost empty, so it was lovely to sit with the waves and enjoy the quiet. The sandy shore was pristine and a great place to reconnect with nature. This campsite is tucked away from the tourist crowds and feels like a peaceful escape. A lovely choice if you're after an authentic, tranquil stay. 🌿⛺️🌊

We were there for two nights in July 2024, during high season, in an equipped tent. It came with a fridge, mattresses, light, and a table with chairs. Bed linen was available from reception, and the toilets were clean. The campsite is 10 meters from the sea and five minutes from Kissamos. Really recommend it!
