Mrs Maria was wonderfully welcoming, even when an unexpected delay made me arrive late for check-in. She brought me fresh fruit and stayed available throughout my visit, and the rooms and shared spaces were kept very clean and tidy. The property sits right by the sea, with direct access to an equipped beach and a bar and restaurant nearby. It’s peaceful, surrounded by nature, and well placed for visiting Balos and elefanossi. My room had all the comforts I needed and was very clean.

The garden-facing balcony was quiet and lovely, and the beach nearby wasn’t crowded. We stayed two nights and were very happy with the clean room, comfortable beds, and a host who was kind and helpful.

The owners made us feel so welcome, almost more at home than at home, and breakfast was a delicious feast. Our simple room was comfortable and sparkling clean. It’s a quiet spot with good road access to Kissamos, Chania, and the main attractions. If you’d rather avoid crowds, this is a great place to stay. We’d happily come back.

The owner was so kind and considerate, even bringing a cot for my little child. Our room was ready early, perfectly clean and fresh, and there was a welcome cake waiting. It’s close to the sea and wonderfully peaceful. A great base, recommended!
