The staff made this girls’ trip so special. They gave us advice about excursions and what each one included, then pointed us to the best sunset spot. They were right, it was quiet there, and we spent most evenings watching the sunset. The staff checked in every morning and night and were so helpful, even carrying our bags to and from the room and giving us a hug goodbye. It felt like a family hotel. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast plan. Breakfast was really good and refreshing, and after exploring all day and eating lunch and dinner out, we’d return for cocktails and their baklava, the best I’ve ever had. I visited with a friend a few years ago and loved the hotel. I’ve recommended it to lots of people, and hope I’ll be back one day.

Right in the middle of Oia, with beautiful farmland views. If you’re after a view inside the volcano, this isn’t the spot. The indoor jacuzzi is great, the outdoor pool is larger, and the all-concrete bathroom is amazing. There’s also a good restaurant next door serving homemade wine from Santorini-grown grapes.

A great place to stay in Oia. The staff were really friendly, the food was amazing and served in good portions, and the rooms were cleaned every day. You can walk to the center and all the attractions in just a few minutes.

I paid £100 extra for a room with a hot tub, but there was no hot water during my two-night, three-day stay. At the front desk they first said some parts weren’t working and it would be fixed that evening. The next day it was still the same. Then they said they couldn’t run it in the windy weather, even though it felt like 16 degrees. That was awful. When I asked to speak with a manager, they offered a bottle of wine worth £20. I requested a refund through the third party I booked with, but the hotel changed the wording completely and claimed the hot tub worked and that they’d offered wine. That’s a dishonest management system. They don’t know how to treat customers. If something doesn’t work, give the money back. We came to Santorini for a one-time experience and paid for this, nothing extra. Think twice before booking here. The management was disappointing and hopeless.
