Art Maisons Aspaki Oia Castle

For our June 2024 honeymoon, the pool villa’s incredible view and sunset swims made for a romantic stay. The bed was comfortable, the room felt very clean, the staff were attentive, and the wifi worked well. I found the walk into the village manageable, going once or twice a day, but there are quite a few steps. It could be tiring if you’re older, less fit, or want to come and go more often. Our villa wasn’t very private. We had the middle one, and the people to our right had to cross our patio to reach theirs. There was only a wall between the patios, so if we swam to the pool’s edge while they were there, we could see them. We could also see and hear them clearly from their patio, and they could hear us. Keep that in mind, especially for a honeymoon where privacy matters.

Breakfast on the private terrace each morning was a dream, and the staff made our special occasion feel incredibly memorable. We stayed in a luxurious suite with a rooftop pool of our own and stunning Caldera views, plus magical sunsets every night. The porter handled our heavy bags on those Santorini stairs like a champ. We’ll be back, and I’d highly recommend it.

Thalia, one of the managers, made our stay so easy. She helped plan our days, arranged cabs, sorted out card payments when we were short on cash, and called restaurants to confirm or cancel reservations, all without us needing to ask. Constantina served breakfast and was warm, friendly, and charming. She even taught me a few basic Greek words I still remember. The room and amenities looked as exquisite as the photos. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink, and there was champagne and petite sweets waiting in the room. The team picked us up, brought our luggage from our previous hotel at check-in, then took it to our next hotel after checkout. I didn’t get our porter’s name, but carrying bags up and down those Oia steps is hard work, so thank you. Everything exceeded what we expected. I strongly recommend staying here.

The staff made us feel welcome from the start, and both properties had breathtaking views. At Oia castle luxury suites by Art Maison, we stayed in the honeymoon suite with an outdoor jacuzzi on the balcony, looking out over the caldera and sunset. A lavish breakfast was included in the room charge. We could also visit the sister property, Aspaki by Art Maison, with its coveted blue dome view. Nobody else had booked it, so we got to enjoy a romantic sunset there by ourselves.
