Christos Apartments Oia

The owners were attentive and always ready to help, and gave me useful local information about Santorini along with an excellent tour guide. I spent a few days here and enjoyed it. Chistos Apartments is in a quiet part of Oia, with sunsets visible from the terrace. The rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommend!

We had a private place to watch the sunset from the apartment while everyone else was crowded around the castle, and we LOVED it. Aggelos welcomed us, helped with our bags, showed us around town, and gave plenty of suggestions. His wife Alexandria sent a helpful welcome message with recommendations that we followed. The location is convenient on Oia's west end, fairly close to the castle and Ammoudi Bay. Our room was spacious, with very high ceilings, and the dome roof kept it about 10 degrees cooler. My friend and I stayed six nights and loved it. We'd give Christos apartments 10 stars if we could. Two small issues: the wifi was a bit slow, and a few of my work calls dropped. The shower was small, too. Apart from that, it’s a wonderful property. I’d happily come back to Christos Apartment.

The best part here is the lovely host. He’s always smiling, friendly, happy to share, and offers help without you needing to ask. He gives first-time visitors tons of tips on food and things to do, which is a game changer. You feel like you’ve made a best friend on the island. The room is comfortable and only a three-minute walk from Oia’s main street. It has a private balcony with cozy tables and sofas and a direct view of the world-renowned Santorini sunset for guests. There’s no famous caldera view, but that would cost about 500 euros more every night. To me, that isn’t worth it when you can walk three minutes and enjoy the caldera and everything else. If you want an Oia room that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, this one is perfect. Stay here for your trip to Santorini, you won’t regret it.

I chose the studio with the amazing rooftop sunset view after Alexandra and Christos emailed me several room options. Booking was easy, and arranging airport transport with them was, too. When I arrived, Christos’ son met me at the taxi and walked me to the apartments. He showed me around the complex, pointed out streets so I could find my way in pedestrian-only Oia, and shared restaurant and sightseeing tips. I can’t say enough good things about the apartments or their location!
